For Carbonated Drink Addicts::Coke + Mentos
Are you one of those cola-addict people? those who drink colas more often than they drink water? well well well...hello there! =p
to others who already know about this, wala lng! anyway, it's something new to me. A lot of mentos-in-coke experiments/stunts were done by curious and creative people. this is a vid from those who are a bit more professional. Cool!

A simple idea on how it works:
There has been a lot of discussion online about why Diet Coke and Mentos make such an interesting combination. What everyone can agree on is that the carbon dioxide that has been compressed into the soda escapes so rapidly that the pressure pushes the soda out of the bottle. It’s like shaking a bottle before you open it, but even more dramatic. read just a bit more>>
Now of course, as it really looks cool, this would not be something carbonated drink companies (esp Coke) would be happy about. Turns out there are more to carbonated drinks that meet the eye. read on only if you're interested..and learn a bit more about mints and our carbonated drink friends!

i really don't know how they process coke (and similar sodas) and what it does to the body..we all heard about the coke-on-dead-pig thing..is that true? this is not to smear coke or anything because i also drink colas, but very seldomly.

back to something really really basic! Water comprises about 70-75% of our body weight, and how much do we lose everyday by sweating, urinating, etc. We have to replace those lost volumes. Now would you replace those with colas?
